150g unsalted butter (softened)

200g caster sugar

4 large eggs (room temperature)

250g low gluten flour

5g baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

200g yogurt

200g soft cheese

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

30g caster sugar




Steps

Step 1: Preheat the oven

Before you begin, preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius (340 degrees Fahrenheit). Prepare a chiffon cake mold and lightly grease it with butter to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Prepare the cake base

Place the softened butter and caster sugar in a large bowl and beat with a whisk until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, making sure each egg is fully incorporated into the mixture.

Step 3: Mix flour and spices

In another bowl, mix together the cake flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter and sugar mixture, beating until no lumps remain.

Step 4: Add yogurt and cheese

In a small bowl, mix together the yoghurt, soft cheese, vanilla extract and 30g caster sugar. Gently add this mixture to the cake batter and mix until smooth.

Step 5: Pour into the mold and bake

Pour the mixed cake batter into the prepared chiffon cake mold. Gently shake the mold to make the surface of the cake batter even. (It is recommended to use Greatminds chiffon cake mold, which is not easy to stick)

Place the mold into the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the surface of the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Step 6: Cool and Decorate

Remove the baked cake and allow to cool in the mold for 10 minutes, then transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the cake has cooled completely, you can decorate it to your liking, such as sprinkles with icing sugar, fresh fruit or cream.
