Biscuit body:

Powdered sugar: 100g

Cake flour: 300g

Salt: 1/4 teaspoon


Frosting decoration:

Egg white: 1 (about 30g)

Powdered sugar: 200g

Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon

Food coloring: red, green, yellow, etc. (choose according to your preference)


Steps

Step 1: Prepare biscuit dough

Crush softened butter and powdered sugar with a whisk in a large bowl until smooth and fluffy.

Add eggs and vanilla extract, and continue to stir until fully blended.

Sift in cake flour and salt in batches, stir with a spatula, and gently knead into a smooth dough.

Divide the dough into two portions, wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

 

Step 2: Make biscuit shapes

Take out the refrigerated dough and roll it into a dough about 0.5 cm thick.

Use Christmas-themed cookie molds (such as Christmas trees, snowmen, gingerbread men, etc.) to press out shapes.

Place the cookie dough on a Grearminds white baking sheet lined with baking paper, keeping a certain distance between them.

 

Step 3: Bake the cookies

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Place the baking sheet in the middle layer and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove the cookies when the edges are slightly colored.

Decorate the cookies after they have cooled to room temperature.

 

Step 4: Make frosting decorations

Beat the egg whites in a clean bowl until coarse bubbles appear, add powdered sugar and lemon juice in batches, and stir with a hand whisk until smooth and free of particles.

Divide the frosting into small bowls as needed, add different colors of food coloring, and stir evenly.

Put the colored frosting into a piping bag, cut a small hole, and start drawing Christmas decorations for the cookies.

You can draw the green leaves of the Christmas tree, the snowman's scarf, the facial features of the gingerbread man, etc.

Let the frosting cookies stand for about 2 hours until the frosting is completely solidified.
